I can spend an insane amount of time on You-tube looking at makeup tutorials and hauls. Here are my top 5 favorite MU gurus of all time! And yes they are to blame for some of my MU purchases :=)

Apart from lip-gloss and eye-shadows, nail polishes are probably the one other cosmetic product that I buy every-time I go shopping. I'm always on the look out for new colors that I can wear when I do my pedi or just colors that are so unique to me that I am always almost guaranteed that no 'normal' polish wearer would pick it up :D

For the past couple of days I've been rocking a cute pink polish that I won in Mylanqolia's contest and I absolutely love it. It's a deep pink from Maybelline New York but for some reason the name isn't on there :( so I wouldn't be able to tell you what it is. What I love about it though is that you only need one coat and you're good to go! I've been wearing it for three days now and it has yet to chip!

Another color that she sent to me is P2's Color Victim Nail polish in #222 Artful. I can't wait to wear this out (I wouldn't dare wear it to work lol) but it's a gorgeous green color...almost like a mint sorbet (I'm crap at describing things lol. I think they boh go well together....maybe the green on the toes and the pink when you do your mani? Or if you're feeling funky you can paint every other finger green and the others pink!

Go to/ every day eye-shadow

So I've really been getting into MAC shadows lately. About a week ago I decided to pick up Amber lights and Embark to use as every day combinations and I must say that they are quite lovely together. I'm very much into earthy tones and these go great together. Amber lights is a shimmery, peachy-bronze eye shadow and Embark is a Matte brown. Pair them with black liner, mascara and a nude-ish pink lip and you're good to go!

What are your go-to/every day eye-shadows?

Contest Time again!

A HUGE Thank You!

So a few months ago I won a contest held by mylanqolia but as I was out of the country I didn't receive my goodies until I returned to the UK. I am so in love with the way she packaged them! Very creative and like I told her, I've saved the envelope so that I can frame it as art work.

I've been super busy with work so I haven't had much time to blog or even do reviews but as thigs get less busy at work, I'll get the ball rolling!

Thanks M, for the prizes!
