May/June Beauty faves

I think I've mentioned before that I'm a creature of habit.

Once I start using something, I use it until I get tired or it stops working for me.

Here's what I've been using on my face for the past month and a half.

On most days I don't even wear blusher, only at nights when I need that bit of colour on the cheeks...and lip-balm is a must!

Have a great Thursday guys!

xoxo

Recent MAC Haulage :-)

L-R: Ambering Rose, Sun Blonde, Satin Taupe
Top: Diva; Bottom: Modesty

All products I've been lemming for a while. Sun blonde has become my daily shadow with a bit of Papparaz-she in the crease, liner and mascara. The Pro Longwear concealer replaces my original one that broke. Modesty is a gooooorgeous every day pinky brown....and Diva is lush!! Can't wait to wear her. EOTD/FOTD soon? Maybe.

:)

Mont Bleu Designs- Have you tried them?

Hiya everyone
A few months ago I was contacted by the people at Mont Bleu Designs
who wanted to send me a few pieces for review on the blog. After checking out the company, I accepted their offer (really nice PR rep by the way)and picked out a few things. They sent more than I chose and I was excited to receive them.

Mont Bleu, the home of superior quality crystal nail files and glass nail files. Here, you will find an amazing range of stylish, practical, and luxurious glass and crystal nail files to suit all your needs, including:

•    Exclusive jewelled nail files made with CRYSTALLIZED™ – Swarovski Elements
•    Durable crystal nail files decorated with business logos or appealing designs
•    Transparent glass nail files
•    Hand-painted crystal glass nail files
•    Safety crystal nail files and glass nail files designed to protect the fingers of the user.

Here are the pieces they sent:

All of the goodies including their beautiful Clear Glass Nail File

Now I'm not one of those people that like a lot of 'bling' (Don't get me started on the blinged out phone cases) because I find most companies are very tacky. Mont Bleu, however, keeps it classic and classy and these products are actually things that I would consider giving as gifts! Seriously! I'm thinking of getting the name card holder engraved to hold my business cards and the lighter (I don't smoke but I've been meaning to buy one warm the ends on my eye pencils and stuff when they become difficult to use) is extremely chic and easy to use, not like those ones that never throw up a flame regardless of how many times you press it.

The clippers and tweezers are your basic type of tools that have that extra flair because of the

Swarovski Elements and are actually pretty good! I think the killer would be popping them out for use in-front of your girlfriends (my mom ooooh and aaaah when she saw them).

The winner of the lot, however, is the nail file! Have you ever used nail files before that crack or chip your nail? Or those ones that are just too harsh that they do more harm than good when you're trying to create that perfect shape? Not these!! I get a beautifully smooth edge every time and it has yet to damage my nails the way other files do. As a matter of fact, when I go t the salon to gt my nails done, I take the file with me so that my manicurist can use it instead of the standard ones. I LOVE it.

Before being contacted I'd never heard of this company, however, I'm glad they found me as they are now my perfect place online to browse when I'm looking for a unique, classy gift for a friend that I KNOW they would love.

Check them out and let me know if you like them as much as I do. I promise more pictures when  get the card holder and the lighter engraved :)

Disclaimer: I did not purchase these products, they were sent for review. The sentiments expressed, however, are my honest opinion. I was not expected or mandated by the company to write a positive review.

Quick update

Hey lovelies. Just a quick note tote to wish you all a happy Sunday and a great week ahead.
Also, yesterday I caved and ordered the Urban Decay Naked Palette on ebay after trying unsuccessfully to get it on ULTA, Urban Decay and Sephora (these sites don't accept international credit cards...booooo). Of course, I paid the ridiculous prices of $66.00 or a $48.00 palette :'( but I NEEDED to have it (yes I did. That's my story and I'm sticking to it).

It should get here in 2-3 weeks and I can't wait!! Needless to say I vowed that this was my last MU purchase for the year. Let's see how long that lasts lol.

Have a great Sunday folks!

I've been obsessed lately

With the Urban Decay Naked Palette.
After convincing myself that I didn't need this, I've managed to talk myself back around to 'I must get this'.
I've been trolling the internet looking for websites that ship internationally
as I don't want to pay the trumped up shipping rates for using a mail forwarding company (learnt my lesson from that one. SO not worth it).

My precious

How pretty is this? I know I've missed the boat on this one but I can't help it. I'm a sucker for nude/neutral shades and this one keeps calling to me.

Do you have this? What are your current MU obsessions?
