Hey girlies. Happy Sunday :)
It's starting to cool down in these parts (as cool as the tropics can get) and I was in the midst of taking an afternoon nap when I remembered that I had a bunch of swatches to do (and I do mean a bunch!!)
I bought these lip pencils when I was on a mad hunt for the perfect red lippie and true to form I have accumulated them but hardly wear them. I swear my New Year's cosmetics resolution is to use up my stash and make room for more stuff.
Anyhoo, these babies are a lip pencil/lipstick in one and remind me a teeny bit of the NYX round lippies in terms if the consistency. They're super creamy, VERY pigmented are extremely affordable. I think they retail for around $4 USD on the NYX website (I got mine off ebay and got a deal on them as they were sold in a bundle....can't remember the price but they were about $17USD including shipping).
What I really love about these is how easy they are to use. I just dab some on and blend into my lips (finger, lipbrush etc) and I'm good to go. I do, however, think that you would still need a lip pencil with these because they are SO creamy that I don't think they work well to line your lips. Nevertheless I think these are great for the price and quite convenient to carry around for touch-ups.
On to the swatchies! Please forgive any fuzz that you see. I took these before I did my hair removal (eek!)
Deep Red (709), Hot Red (704), Iced Coffee (711), Plush Red (712), Fuschia (721), Hera (722)
Hope you enjoyed! If you have any of the Jumbo lip pencils from NYX drop me a comment and let me know which ones.

Now this review has been a long time coming. I bought these a few months ago but never got around to rocking them on a regular because I've really been into BOLD lipsticks but as it's been getting more difficult for me to spend a lot of time in the morning to do my make-up (I go to the gym, shower and then work so MU is being kept at a minimum) I decided to pop these into my MU bag to use during the week.
Ironically, another blogger in my feed blogged about them today so I'll link the post at the end of the blog.
Now the Jordana Easyshine Glossy lip colors are a balm/gloss/lipstick kinda product. Confusing? Not really. They moisturize like a lip-balm, have enough pigmentation to make you look like you're wearing lipstick (think MAC lustre finishes) and have a bit of a gloss to it it give your lips that juicy look. I bought them during my last visit to Trinidad and paid about $20.00TT per pop. They retail for $1.99USD on the Jordana website and in most Walgreens
I have three colors: Sugar Cookie, Berry Colada and Sweet Strawberry.
Rockin' Berry Colada (BB pics suck!!)
These have such a pleasant taste and a bit of gold refelcts to give it that glossy look. Nothing too overpowering ad nothing you can feel when you rub your lips together. I LOVE them and will definitely be collecting these whenever I spot them.
You can check out Beauty Judy's review on these. She has MUCH better swatches!
Have a wonderful Friday loves

So I've decided to start hitting the gym at 4:30 am instead of waiting until after work to do so. I've found this to be more effective for weight loss and I am more inclined to stick to a program if exercising is the first thing I do after waking. I keep track of the number of calories burned and after that I am more cognizant of what I eat as I know how much I can actually afford to without rendering my work-out insignificant for weight loss (ideally you should burn more than you eat....3500 calories burned=1lb)
Anyhoo, this also means that I have to pack breakfast and lunch to take with me to work as I shower and change at the gym. I had to lighten my bags, including my makeup bag and thus, we have my new little collection below. I tried to keep it as minimal as possible!

I get a professional mani/pedi/eye-brow shaping every month apart from my own at home up-keep methods. Today just happened to be SPA day and I remembered to take pictures for the blog. Unfortunately I forgot my camera so I had to make do with the camera on my phone. For those of you in SVG, I go to Precision Spa in Villa and the lovely Therese hooks me up. Therese is one of the spa technicians at Young Island and she always does a fantastic job.
Today she kept it a pinky natural (opi hawaiian orchid) on the mani and a gorgeous red with gold reflects (opi friar friar pants on fire) on the toes. Both colors are from OPI and I'm in the process of hunting them don for my at home use.

If you're in ST.Vincent and you want Theres's number, send me a message or leave on in the comment box and I'll pass it on.
Happy Saturday folks!
