MAC and Rihanna will be collaborated for four color collections for later on this year. The first product we’ll see is MAC RiRi Woo–inspired by Ruby Woo–that will launch to coincide with her concerts on May 4th and 5th. It will be sold online and at Rihanna concerts.

Revlon Color-stay Whipped Cream Make-up

I've had this for a while and  I can easily say that this is one of the better foundations that I've tried.

What Revlon says:

Finally, truly decadent makeup offers ultimate performance. The mousse-like texture feels like silk on your skin. And, the time release formula balances skin for a flawless look. All day flexible wear without flaking, caking or feeling heavy.
 What I say:

The texture is silky. Very soft and smooth, almost like pudding. It melts into your skin and blends seamlessly.  It has a satin finish type of look and the lasting power is pretty awesome. I usually wear this to work and my face always looks like it was freshly applied after an 8-10 hour day at the office. From what I've seen it comes in about 16 different shades so it should be relatively easy to find a match however I find that Revlon needs to consider adding a bit more yellow based foundations to their line-up. I usually wear toast but to be honest I find that it leaves a slight white cast to my face. I ended up getting Caramel which is darker with a bit more red. I don't mixed them but I apply toast the the center of my face and caramel to the peripheral. Revlon says this dries to a soft matte finish and I have to agree. I do blot at least twice during the day but just my t-zone.

  • Long lasting
  • Easy to blend
  • Comes in a variety of shades

  • Undertones still a bit too pink or red
  • Even with the colour range, Caramel is the darkest

And now pictures!

28 days of kisses: Day 7,8,9

I've been rocking a naked (aka lip-balm) kinda lip for the past three days. Usually because I'm in a rush and didn't have time to put on lipstick (like really, who does that??? lol)

My lip-balm of choice is usually one of these three:

So don't forget to head on over to Nykki Talks Beauty for the list of those taking part!

Happy Saturday guys

28 Days of Kisses: Day 4 NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo

Nyx Soft Matte Lip Cream in San Paulo. One of the few (bright) pinks that I can wear to work without it being too in your face. I love these lip creams because I love wearing lipsticks but hate feeling like I have stuff on my lips. These feel like nothing and dry to a soft matte (true to the name) finish. Plus they smell YUM!

Are you gonna be watching the Football game at the Beyonce Concert today?

After all the practicing and the strategics and making sure all players are in position Superbowl Sunday is about to kick off and we're all looking forward to one thing! Sorry fellas....we wish you luck on the field too but the Pepsi Superbowl half-time show featuring Beyonce has stolen your thunder!

It first started with that famous GQ spread

Then the behind the scenes rehearsal videos:

And the behind the scenes practice photos:

I expect nothing but awesomeness from Queen B!. I do expect a Destiny's Child reunion (we can all hope) with a few of their hit songs like Independent Woman, Survivor and Bootylicious. I also expect her to translate that into some of her music after DC parted ways and we'll be treated to the music she made that signaled her relationship with Jay (will he make an appearance? Again, we can only hope) like Crazy in Love, Bonnie & Clyde 03, Deja Vu. Then there is the B-day album and Ring the alarm and the magnificence that is 4. Bey also hinted that there would be a surprise announcement at the end of the show and I'm keeping all fingers, toes and hair ends crossed that she will be announcing the 1. Destiny's Child is releasing a proper album with ALL new songs and 2. They will be touring!

But my expectations aside, I cannot wait for the half time show. Knowing Bey, she'll give it her all. Let the games begin!

Day 1: MAC Hot Tahiti Lipstick

So here's my day one lippie. This was an easy choice for me. It's my current 'red' lip fave for every day. MAC describes this as a soft reddish coral and it definitely is true to that. It's a glaze formula which i was hesitant aout because I'm not a huge fan of lustres and I thought this would be like that but it's not. But enough of me rambling!
